Highfield is a working arable farm set in the countryside on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, with easy access to the A1, M1 and A14. Highfield farm has been awarded the highest grade of Five Stars by Visit Britain and last year won the prestigious ‘Rose Award’

We offer excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation, breakfast is produced from top quality local produce when possible, home-made marmalade, local honey and excellent bread from a local baker, and is served in the large airy dining-room in Sunnyside, overlooking fields. Free Wi-Fi, ground floor bedrooms available, some with king sized beds, parking, en-suite rooms. hospitality trays, homemade biscuits, top quality linens, ‘White Company’ toiletries, families welcome.

We can also offer Self Catering, two barn conversions made into four comfortable cottages.  Wooden floors throughout, fully equipped kitchen, each bedroom has own bath/shower room, leather sofas, luxury feather duvets, linens and heating included and again ‘White Company’ complimentary toiletries.

Two of our cottages hold an M2 rating for those less able.

There are many attractions close by; Old Warden is a beautiful little village which boasts the Shuttleworth Collection and The Swiss Gardens, also The Hare and Hounds Pub for an excellent meal. We  have The Imperial War Museum at Duxford, and the RSPB Headquarters at Sandy, Wimpole Hall, Woburn Safari Park and Abbey, Cecil Higgins Art Gallery in Bedford, xscape in Milton Keynes for the adrenalin junky or visit to the theatre, Wrest Park for historical re-enactments, The Glenn Miller museum and for a leisurely walk why not go to Priory Country Park. If shopping is your thing, Milton Keynes is 30 minutes away as is the historical Cambridge with its colleges, Universities and shops. Some folk choose to visit London and use us as the base.
